About the Scholarship
The LIC Golden Jubilee Scholarship Scheme offers financial assistance to meritorious students from economically weaker sections of society. The program aims to support students pursuing higher education across various disciplines, including Medical, Engineering, General Graduation, Diploma, and ITI courses.
The scholarship provides annual financial aid ranging from ₹15,000 to ₹40,000, with the specific amount determined by the type of course undertaken by the student.
Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification:Must be enrolled in Medical, Engineering, General Graduation, Diploma, ITI, or Vocational courses.
- Minimum 60% marks required in the previous qualifying exam.
- Applicable for Undergraduate (UG) and Diploma courses only; not for postgraduate studies.
- Financial & Category:Annual family income must not exceed ₹4.5 Lakh from all sources.
- Students already receiving other scholarships are ineligible.
- Preference is given to students from lower income bands during selection.
- Renewal Policy:For general scholarships, students must maintain 55% marks in Medical/Engineering courses or 50% marks in General courses.
- The special scholarship for girl children is applicable for 2 years only.
Benefits
- Annual scholarship amount ranging from ₹15,000 to ₹40,000, based on the course type:
- Medical courses: ₹40,000
- Engineering courses: ₹30,000
- General Graduation/Diploma courses: ₹20,000
- Special scholarship for Girl Child: ₹15,000 (for 2 years)
- The scholarship amount is paid in two equal installments.
- Funds are transferred directly to the student's bank account via NEFT.
- The scholarship covers tuition fees and other educational expenses.

- Fill out the application form with your personal, academic, and income details.
- Upload all required documents.

- You will receive an acknowledgment with an application number.
- Shortlisted candidates will be contacted by LIC Divisional Offices for further evaluation and physical document verification.
