Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this role, you should meet the following requirements:
- Educational Qualification: You must have a Diploma in Coaching from SAI NS-NIS Patiala or an equivalent qualification from a recognized Indian or Foreign University.
- Professional Achievement: Alternatively, if you have participated in the Olympics, Paralympics, Asian Games, or World Championships and hold a Certificate Course in Coaching, you are encouraged to apply. Dronacharya Awardees are also eligible.
- Age Limit: You should be 30 years or younger as of the opening date of applications.
- Note: Standard relaxations apply for SC/ST (5 years), OBC (3 years), and Ex-Servicemen.
- Citizenship: You must be an Indian citizen.

- Computer-Based Test (CBT): This stage carries 40% of the total weightage. It consists of 100 multiple-choice questions covering sports-specific knowledge, sports science, and general aptitude.
- Coaching Ability Test (CAT): This is the most crucial part, carrying 60% weightage. Candidates are shortlisted for this practical test in a 1:3 ratio based on their CBT scores.
- Final Merit List: Your final selection will be based on the combined scores of the CBT and CAT, followed by a document verification and medical check-up.
