Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Candidates must have:
- 10+2 (Intermediate) or equivalent qualification from a recognized board
- Punjabi language as a subject in Matriculation (10th)
For Ex-Servicemen, the minimum qualification is Matriculation.

Age Limit (As on 01 January 2026)

Minimum Age: 18 Years
Maximum Age: 28 Years

Age Relaxation

SC / BC candidates: Up to 33 years
Government employees: Up to 33 years
Ex-Servicemen: Service period deducted from age (plus 3 years relaxation)

Physical Standards

Female	157.5 cm (5’2″)

Transgender candidates will be treated at par with female candidates.

Selection Process

The recruitment will be conducted in three stages:

Stage 1 – Computer-Based Test (CBT)

Paper I (100 Marks): Subjects include: General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning, English Language, Punjabi Language, Digital Literacy
Paper II (Punjabi Language): 50 Marks, Qualifying only (50% required)
No negative marking

Stage 2 – Physical Screening Test (PST)

Male Candidates:

1600m race in 6 min 30 sec
Long Jump 3.80 m
High Jump 1.10 m

Female Candidates:

800m race in 4 min 30 sec
Long Jump 3.00 m
High Jump 0.95 m

Stage 3 – Document Verification

Candidates must produce:

10th certificate (Age proof)
12th certificate
Punjabi language certificate
Category certificate
Photo ID proof
