- Mining Sirdar: You should have completed Senior Secondary (10+2) OR possess a Diploma/Degree in Mining Engineering. Essential documents include a Mining Sirdarship Certificate (Unrestricted) from DGMS, plus valid Gas Testing and First Aid certificates.
- Surveyor: A 10+2 qualification or a Diploma/Degree in Mining/Mine Surveying is necessary, along with a valid Surveyor’s Certificate of Competency (Unrestricted) from DGMS.
- Translator (Hindi): A B.A. or equivalent degree with both Hindi and English is required. Preference is given to those with a Government Diploma in Hindi Translation.
- Technician (Pathology): You must hold a Diploma in Pathology from a government-recognized institute.
- Age Limit: You should be between 18 and 30 years old (as of April 6, 2026).
- Relaxations: 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC (NCL) candidates.
Selection Process
The selection is straightforward and merit-based:
- Computer-Based Test (CBT): This is the only examination stage—there are no interviews. The test is 100 marks and lasts for 2 hours.
- Section A (20 Marks): General Awareness and Aptitude.
- Section B (80 Marks): Subject-specific technical knowledge.

- Document Verification: Candidates who pass the CBT will be shortlisted in a 1:3 ratio for a thorough check of their original certificates and statutory documents.
