Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for these executive roles, you must meet the following requirements:
- Academic Background:
- For Telecom Stream: You need a full-time B.E. or B.Tech degree (or equivalent) with at least 60% marks. Your degree should be in Electronics & Telecommunication, Electronics, Computer Science, IT, Electrical, or Instrumentation.
- For Finance Stream: You must be a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or Cost & Management Accountant (CMA).
- Age Limit: You should be between 21 and 30 years old (calculated as of March 7, 2026).
- Relaxations: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC (NCL), and up to 15 years for PwBD candidates.
- Nationality: Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply.
Selection Process
BSNL follows a merit-based selection approach consisting of:
- Computer-Based Test (CBT): An objective-type exam featuring 200 questions divided into Aptitude and Technical sections. The exam lasts for 3 hours and includes a negative marking of 0.25 for wrong answers.
- Document Verification: Successful candidates from the written exam will be called to verify their credentials.
- Medical Examination: A final check-up to ensure you meet the required health standards for the post.
