Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed the HSLC or equivalent examination from any Central or State recognized Board. Additionally, they must hold a passed Recorders Certificate Class Course (RCCC) certificate from the Assam Survey & Settlement Training Centre, Dakhingaon, Guwahati-40. Candidates from Sixth Schedule districts or other States are not eligible.

Computer Proficiency: Candidates must be proficient in computers and IT, with a minimum typing speed of 30 words per minute in Assamese or Bengali.

Age Limit: Candidates must be between 21 and 40 years of age as on 1 January 2025. Age relaxation for reserved categories will be applied in accordance with Government policy. Age will be calculated based on the Class X or Class XII Admit Card, Pass Certificate, or Mark Sheet issued by a recognized Board. Selection Process

Selection will be based on two stages. First, shortlisted candidates will appear in a Written Examination (Paper-I) of 80 marks in MCQ format. Those who clear the minimum qualifying marks (category-wise) will then be called for a Skill Test (Paper-II) of 20 marks. The total marks for the recruitment is 100.

Step 2: Read the instructions on how to submit the Online Application Form carefully before proceeding.

Step 3: Fill in the Online Application Form and upload your recent passport-size colour photograph, signature, and RCCC passed certificate in the required format and size.

Step 4: Review all entered details before final submission, then submit the application.

Step 5: Take a printout of the submitted Online Application Form for your records.

The Directorate of Land Records & Surveys, Assam has published an official advertisement inviting online applications for 552 posts of Land Records Assistant (LRA). This recruitment is being conducted as a one-time measure under the Assam Land Records Sub-Ordinate Service Rules (Amendment) 2025. Only candidates who have completed the six-month Recorders Certificate Class Course (RCCC) Training from the Assam Surveys and Settlement Training Centre, Dakhingaon are eligible to apply. The online application portal opens on 15 March 2026 at 11 AM on sebaonline.org, and the last date for submission is 30 April 2026 at 5 PM.
